Existing Conditions

​The first step in a corridor study is to collect data on the existing conditions of the study area. The study team is looking for opportunities to enhance safety, reduce delays, and provide safe access for vulnerable users.

  • Desert Foothills Drive to Sky Vista Drive – two lanes each direction with a raised and striped median

  • Sky Vista Drive to SR 160 – one lane each direction rural highway

  • South Pahrump to Rainbow Avenue – one lane each direction rural highway​

  • Rainbow Avenue to Lockspur Avenue – two lanes each direction with a raised and striped median​

  • Lockspur Avenue to Roadrunner Road – one lane each direction rural highway​

  • Two lanes each direction divided highway

SR 160 Southern Las Vegas Area

  • Las Vegas Boulevard to Rainbow Boulevard – four lanes each direction with raised median and signals

  • Rainbow Boulevard to Orduno Street – two lanes each direction with a raised median

  • Orduno Street to SR 159 – two lanes each direction with a striped median
